What is the Blockchain?
Blockchain is a method of storing information in such a way that it is difficult or impossible to change, hack, or cheat the system.
A blockchain is essentially a digital ledger of transactions that is replicated and distributed across the blockchain’s entire network of computer systems. Each block in the chain contains a number of transactions, and whenever a new transaction occurs on the blockchain, a record of that transaction is added to the ledger of every participant. Distributed Ledger Technology refers to a decentralized database managed by multiple participants (DLT).
Blockchain is a type of distributed ledger technology in which transactions are recorded with an immutable cryptographic signature known as a hash.
